Yesterday, the world, including the Sultanate of Oman witnessed a partial eclipse of the sun, beginning approximately at 2:40 pm and reaching the climax at 3:57 pm in the Governorate of Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate.
In the Wilayat of Salalah, south of Oman, the eclipse began at 3:03 pm, reaching its climax at 4:03 pm, in the Wilayat of Nizwa in the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah, the eclipse began at 2:50 pm reaching its climax at 3:57 pm and in the Wilayat of Sohar, north of the Sultanate, in the Governorate of North Al Batinah, the eclipse began at 2:45 pm reaching its peak at 3:54 pm.
